Maybe, but when the Brits moved there it was originally chosen because no one, and nothing was there. Nothing. However, when the whites built the port there, made farmlands and industry from the nothingness of the savannah despite being attacked by zulus that decided to move into the area after the whites created something, more tribal negroes moved in hoping to find a job and live in something other than a dung hut. Of course, that wasn't good enough. Having never had civilization, or even the wheel, the negroes had no idea how that prosperity had occurred and just made demands.

The result is giving into those demands. You don't allow those with the intelligence of three year olds to set policy, make decisions and be in positions of authority.
