The drama has just begun and the end result seems to be ugly. Jihadists vs army. The stage is set for bloodshed Egypt has never seen.

Guess we get to see what the Egyptian army has planed for Morsi.

The army say they will set up an early election. So it could be months before there is a new pres.

Probably a secular military dictatorship.

If that happens we will see the same thing again a few years from now.

Didn't the military move in quickly for a power grab after Mubarak was ousted and a lot of unrest resulted? If that's the case it'll happen a lot quicker than a few years. Forgive my fuzzy memory things are happening so quickly lately.

Just watch how obama sets up a no fly zone in favor of morsi and bombs the secular protesters in order to save his precious Muslim Brotherhood.

I thought they only held control until an election could be held, much like they are saying they will do this time. I could be wrong.

saw elsewhere that army has already stated that Morsi and co. are not permitted to leave palaces or travel out of country

basically, the military just said

"give the people what they want"

Morsi said

"No"

Military says

"okay, well now if you try to leave, we will kill or arrest you"

Morsi says....



this is looking BAD

If that can be confirmed, Obama should be out too. It would prove than he wants civil unrest in the ME and is the reason the U.S is supporting terrorist.
