Ohio police department sparks controversy with fake drug checkpoints

Fake checkpoint. As in there is no checkpoint. Its just a sign, and then police wait to see if someone freaks out so they can be pulled over. Even then you have to consent to be searched.

A complete waste of time and money and I bet a cost/benefit analysis would prove it.

I believe they stopped four people, they say they found some drugs but don't say how many or what it was they found.

One guy had stopped on the side of the road to get directions which was viewed as suspicious.

This all took place on a freeway, they're lucky no one was killed.

This reeks of political grandstanding, there must be an election upcoming.

they can say anyone is suspicious because they said so, this is a violation of the 4th. The war on drugs arent with the users, its with the government shipping the shit in. Bullshit, we live in fuckin nazi germany.
