A message for the awakening souls of the new age

With all of the world on edge lately, and the forums filled with more hate and less love I wanted to share this with my fellow GLP'ers.

Please share any thoughts or feelings brought up from this thread.

OK, here goes:

The cited text felt utterly misguided to me. Love is not equal to sitting around in a zonked out mind state, denying all other impulses than the selfish desire to seek inner bliss.

To truly express Love you certainly need to be in sync with your inner highest self, but you also need to stay well grounded!

To anyone who reads stuff like that regularly, I say GO FORTH AND GROUND THYSELF!

Engage in the physical reality around you! Live life fully, don't escape from it by putting your head in the clouds! The "lower" part of reality is what we're here to work with, it's not a bad thing you need to avoid. Bring light to the world, don't flee it to seek light for yourself.

I really enjoyed waking up to read your response. I feel these are words I needed to read myself. It is important to learn to manage this reality so that we can ascend to the next, whatever one believes that may be. This makes me feel for presentism, if you're familiar with that philosophy. Being grounded and rounded in all the now moments is a great way to exercise the soul. The heart is important, but I can understand that to know what one's heart wants is to look where one's mind wanders.

If presentism means the idea that only the present exists, and the "past" is an illusion, then yes, I do subscribe to that idea.

I think the so-called "past" is a contrived convenience that props up our consciousness and gives it a much needed sense of stability, but the reality is the illusion of a "past" is constantly in flux; it is merely a fiction designed to give us a mental context to better understand the present in.

Every day we literally wake up to a new world, freshly created, complete with an illusion of a "past" for our convenience.

That's incidentally probably the reason why channelings can't seem to pinpoint a time-table for anything in our "future" correctly - there simply is no such thing as time, and events just happen when they happen!

I love how in tune you are. It's a hard concept to stop dwelling in what has been, taking on what is now, and planning to build towards the future nows. I'm a philosophy major and love to see people that dig into reality and time perceptions taking them head on from within the soul. Everything happens for a reason and I know that you saw what I posted and responded because you were meant to. Thank you for your insight and kind words I hope you have a great experience and continue to spread love and a new way of thinking around.
