Past 100 years we have developed more tech than ever before due to ww1 and ww2, do the maths. This means the desire to annihilate each other brought development. Humanity is just sick from within.

Its not religion causing wars but the sick minds.

War economies are always destructive. The world wars destroyed capital and productive enterprises, both in the fighting but in great part by diverting resources from the economy and into destructive activity.
