Resister User ID: 1461638 United States 07/12/2013 08:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't fly. I have no reason to for one, but I wouldn't fly because I refuse to surrender my 4th amendment rights just so some TSA Nazi can zap me or handle the goods. What they are doing has nothing to do with security and everything to do with control and conditioning the public to accept being treated like cattle. If I need to get somewhere, I'll drive myself. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Quoting: Resister If I need to get somewhere, I'll drive myself. I agree. Many times I rent a car. But I have to fly. I sacrifice myself for my kids. Usually I'll save up all my morning gas. When the queer ass ex-con TSA agent starts patting me down I let it rip. kinda disgusting but it seems to make them move faster. |

I would rather get felt up than go through that radiation. who knows what studies will come out some years from now saying how much more harmful it is. Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 43199473 United States 07/12/2013 08:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Me and my wife did it twice about a month ago when flying from Chicago to Knoxville. I saw no one else opt out either. Sad!!! I have opted out all times when asked to go through the scanners. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42723662 If more folks were like you and your spouse then the scanners would go away. Its as simple as everyone opting out. It would end the scanners overnight. |

Which is why scanners are illegal in many countries. I have actually seen TSA goons crowd around a monitor when a young girl is getting scanned. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1466471 Even had one agent ask me why I wouldn't get scanned. Replied because you should only get one scan like that in your lifetime. Her reply, government says it's safe. Yea. I've had the same thing and argued with them. I've told them they are at risk standing by the scanners all day. I've tried to inspire people around me in line to opt out but they just stared at me like a dairy cow. I had one agent tell me in confidence that I was smart for opting out. |

Quoting: Angry Hierophant They don't ask for ID but I'm sure they can match you to one of the many video images they have of you and then match it to your passport. The TSA nazis always walk away from me with their heads down in shame. I am 99% positive I made one cry one time and YES I am proud of that BTW.... |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 43199473 United States 07/12/2013 08:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The pat down is standard. Same thing every time. Some TSA crooks try to make a display out of it. They're just pathetic drones though. People don't realize that TSA has no real authority. If they have a problem they have to call the police. |
