I didn't even know you could opt out. I assume they lock you up or put you on a list if you object.
Quoting: Angry Hierophant They don't ask for ID but I'm sure they can match you to one of the many video images they have of you and then match it to your passport. It mostly involves a pat down with a paper wipe they use to scan for chemicals related to bomb making and no doubt narcotics...
