1 John 2: And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Quoting: Jerichofall I\'m also not sure how people take these verses who think the law is abolished to be honest... umm, how do you discount these plain verses without ignoring them? And what are HIS commandments? TO LOVE......that\'s it. He told us very clearly, multiple times. Don\'t add to His words, or try to complicate it. He spelled it out very clearly.  Wrong, Love is the 11th commandment.
