My husband has been placed in a prison facility for violating probation, his violation was for not attending an out-patient drug program. The reason for his lack of attendance was because he could not afford the weekly payments they required, and furthermore he never once had a positive drug test nor did he ever refuse one.Due to his imprisonment he has lost his employment and left us,his family, without any means of support. Is this just another way for our judicial system to make money?

I'm having the same problem with my son. I really do believe they're set up to fail from the beginning. He's staying clean, too but they keep finding ways to snatch him back. I agree they just want to drain you financially. They have drained me. Emotionally, physically, mentally and financially. Then, when all is said and done, he won't be able to find work because of his record. I hate this system. He's never harmed anyone but himself. They should be put in treatment and at most, house arrest.

Best wishes to you and your family.
