If you're sincere, rise above it. There is division these days on every channel, in every forum, and on every news site. Don't let the rising tide suck you in. I've watched comments from my black facebook friends (2 I'm close with) and am speechless. I just decided to let this shitstorm die off before I replied or asked them about it.

OP, How long have you been around this site?
I've often thought were I a black man, I couldn't take some of the crap.
I really dig the free exchanges permitted here and am happy to be part of the community,
but were I black, it would just piss me off too much.
For all it's goodness, there is a pretty ugly underbelly.
Whether that underbelly is a few or many it is hard for me to say,
I can say however, lately it is consistent.

When I forward cool info from here to my black friends,
I nearly always reference the source link rather than here.
They don't need to see that shit.

Sorry but I lived in Harlem for a year and I speak from experience. Nothing but a bunch of low life obese people on the public dole throwing fast food wrappers in the street. So much so that any slight breeze would send trash blowing into the side your leg. This is while there are empty trash cans on every corner but your kind is just to lazy to pick up after themselves. So lazy that they would rather live in filth than walk 10 seconds to a trash can.

Your kind has major issues and you need to deal with those people with before my kind fixes the problem for you. And if you get in the way you will get dealt with along with them.

I've been visiting GLP for about a year. And I've been able to look past all the other crap threads I see. But you're right, lately it has been consistent. And I've just had enough, that's why this thread. I don't really hate white people, but if the hate for blacks doesn't die down soon and I keep visiting GLP it would be hard not to develop that feeling.

That aside, I really like the site for the non traditional news links. For now, it's worth the anger to know what's really going on in the world.

Sounds like "your house" is the problem because I don't live in Harlem. We don't have that problem in Virginia. actually, it is better for me that they litter your lands than ship that trash down to VA like they normally do.
