However, she argued Martin’s first blow was likely caused by Zimmerman attempting to grab and detain Martin.

Which still does not justify Martin taking a punch. Zimmerman surely tried to ask this kid questions like, "why are you over here". IMO, Trayvon could have told George, "mind your own business I'm just passing through". No way would he have gotten shot.

Zimmerman was not pursing Martin when Martin attacked him. Zimmerman had lost sight of Martin and was walking back to his truck when the thug jumped out and ambushed him.

Would Treytrey have assaulted Zimmerman, if Jeantel hadn't told Treytrey, that Zimmerman might be a gay wanting to rape him? Is it a civil rights violation, to assault someone, because you believe they are gay?

George ZImmerman had every right to walk down that sidewalk. Trayvon had already taken off and disappeared. He didn't even know where he was. Even if he had followed a short distance to tell the dispatcher what way he was going it was not a crime. It is a crime to hit someone. In your logic if someone is going the same way behind me on the sidewalk and I feel mad or threatened; I can just turn around and knock them down and smash their head in the sidewalk. Some peoples logic is unreal!!
