By the way, if it is Pseudo-Tumor Cerebri, don't be alarmed. It's not a Tumor, the brain just behaves and gives symptoms as if it is. They may give you a spinal tap to relieve some of the pressure of the extra fluid off your brain, but, contrary to what some think, spinal taps are not painful. One pin prick, a little bit of pressure and its over. If they do draw off quite a bit of fluid, whatever you do, LIE DOWN for six to eight hours. Standing or walking after a spinal tap to remove fluid can cause severe headache until normal levels of spinal fluid are replenished.
