You should definitely get display by doing this. Note: Make sure you turn to the proper channel. ... For audio, I my case I have to buy separate laptop audio speakers to play sound at a louder level than what my laptop can achieve. dean007 User ID: 40196769 Canada 07/20/2013 06:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | you probably will need a vga cable or hdmi depending on how old the laptop is you will also need a wire for the sound most likely one that looks like a headphone plug in or walkman style plug in if it is hdmi you might not need the sound wire right click and goto properties and or screen resolution from there advanced display in the tabs there should be a way to turn on or off the external display |

It is like input on your standard computer monitor. I so you will need a male to male VGA cable and an 1/8 male to 1/8"ale audio cable. Plug them in toggle the laptop to output to external display and boom your in it to win it. |
