A conundrum for you.

If a permanent threat was imminent, would peace be worth fighting for? Would you kill for peace?

Would the end justify the means?

There are those out there, that through generations of handed down knowledge (and even possible "extended" lifespans, but I wont go there now), have refined the art of taking advantage of "the benefit of the doubt" in the most exploitative ways. They always count on their oppositions diplomatic nature, and, step by step, manipulate, chip away, and reduce ones resolve, to their own benefit.

When up against these types, sometimes, the only way to achieve victory toward your ideal vision, is elimination of the obstruction in the path to bringing your ideals into reality.

Last resort, of course, but, beware of the cunning tactics to endlessly delay your resolve to conclude that the last resort is necessary.
