Here's a thought about solving the 1% vs the 99% wealth problem
I am sure there's probably already something like this in place, or that at least has been thought of. To be honest, I don't really know much about it, but here's a thought I had.

Let's say you are part of the wealthy Americans. Not necessarily part of the 1%, but pretty wealthy.

To keep it simple, let's say you own a company, and after all expenses, you make a profit of $100 mill a year. Now we don't really know what people in this situation actually do with that money. Some may say that they give some to charity, or they use it to invest in other projects, basically so that they can make more money. But I haven't heard of any that actually put some of that money back towards the people that work for them. So that it is enough to make a difference in their lives.

I am not trying to be socialistic here, but let's say there was some incentive put in place by the gov, (because after all, they have to get paid too, right?) that said that if you put a percentage of that profit back towards the people that work for you, either via increase of salary, or bonus or whatever, but that you gave a significant percentage of that profit back to the workers. And if you did so, then you would get some sort of tax break. But it would have to be a significant amount, not an extra 250 at the end of the year, but more like an extra 2500 or so.

Would the people in those wealthy positions actually be willing to do this? Or will they not do so because they need to keep the classes separated?

I am talking about workers in all sort of fields, from the burger flipper at your local McDs to the janitor at the Hilton, to the cubicle monkeys all around, and their supervisors, to the nurses at your hospitals, and waitresses at your restaurants. If the owner of the companies they work for, gave a substantial cut of their profit back to them, would this be a good idea? Or even something that would be considered?

Just thinking here...

The best way is for the 99% to issue new money and make all the old money worthless.

Which is pretty much what we're doing right now come to think of it.

Wouldn't this be an good way to help the economy as well? Because the people getting the extra cash would turn around and spend it.

How about just wiping out ALL debt for everyone making $100,000 a year or less. That would include most of the 99%.

If you cannot live off of $100,000 a year, then you have a MAJOR problem.

Oh for sure. I actually have always wondered why the bail out money was never given to the citizens. They will bail out all this big corps that ended up laying off a whole bunch of people anyway, and some still went under, but will not give any to the average citizen.

Not asking for hand outs here. Just wondering why that was never thought of.
I have never asked for anything from anyone, but seeing all this money being handed out to big corps that got in trouble off their own doing makes me think that it is wrong to not even think of the little man.

Here's your solution. A tax on incomes of 95% for any person or corporation importing cheap foreign shit into your country. A tax rate of 0% for any person or corporation manufacturing goods in your country using domestic labor.

You'll be back to full employment at living wages in a year.

Yea, that seems to be the mainstream solution to this problem I keep hearing. But if you are gonna do that, then why not nationalize everything in your country?

Well if the people were bailed out then that would stimulate the economy. The problem is that the MEGA-RICH are greedy and continue to want more and more. The banks continue to enslave everyone with the high interest rates forcing everyone into debt that is not payable. The economic system WILL collapse if this continues. If your average citizen cannot afford to buy anything, then that will lead to an economic collapse.

And if they know a bailout to the citizens would help the economy, but yet refuse to do it, then does that mean that they want the collapse? ... but that would mean that all that is happening is planned, and that there is an agenda being carried out by unknown sources.... but that would mean the conspiracy nutjobs were right all along.... but... but.... but....

Take a look at Zimbabwe's currency collapse. This WILL happen in America if the greed continues. The poor are what makes the rich wealthy. If the RICH continue to rob the poor, an economic collapse WILL happen.
