I have for a long time had this idea about how to stop our waste of resources on Earth. Imagine every house get a "3D-printer", with a very special material that can be recycled. A strong and flexible material, maybe with components of "goat-spider-silk" etc. You simply print what you need, and then you don't need it anymore you recycle it to other things. In this way we don't store tons of material we rarely need, and we don't strain the nature with all this crap that only last for so little and then end at the junkyard. We only need blueprints of everything in a database to our printer, or create our own ideas. This would also make an end to stores and shopping as we know it today. I've argued this with friends, and I also see the backsides of this theory. Many people want to stand out, be more than others, people today think very material, but can't this be reversed again? I just don't know how to create this special material which can be recycled. Last Edited by Scandinavia on 07/24/2013 06:25 AMScandinavia |
