A guy with tattoo's and a girl with no bra

Not even close since you can remove all those things at the end of the day or stop wearing them if you decide you dont like them.A tattoo is there to stay unless you pay big bucks to get rid of it and it identifies you.Been many criminals caught due to a tattoo.

I'm speaking about the intent, it's the same. Has nothing to do with being able to take it off the easy way or the hard way, it's adornment plain and simple. Plastic surgery is also adornment, so are nice clothes, fashionable anything and everything.

People who stand up there and preach that tattoos are evil better make sure they don't try and adorn themselves in any way, shape or fashion or they are hypocrites. The Amish are the only ones I know of that don't use adornment of any kind. They can talk about it because they aren't being hypocrites, but then they have their own stack of issues that we won't talk about here.

Bottom line........everyone's butt here stinks. It's Jesus that saves, end of story.

If your tattoos could not be covered by clothing, or your boobs were big enough to flop around if unrestrained by underwear, you could not be hired by my company for any position that dealt face to face with the public that can choose to spend their money--or not--based on something as "judgmental" as their opinion of tattoos or floppy unrestrained boobs in their face.

Let me guess--you are one of those women who don't wear a bra, display half their breast, but get "offended" when someone stares at your display?

I accept that very poorly phrased. I should have said for myself I would never tattoo. But I find no fault in those that have. Some will be ok with them throughout their entire spiritual journey, others will come to a different conclusion. The important part is the spirit that guides you to that conclusion. As you say with any adornment this is a personal journey. My point was do not let any outward sign fool you into thinking you know charecter and someones heart.That is the error and results in missed opportunities.

This is a lesson that has to be learned a personal one that gives you a glimpse of the ugly inside of you. Jesus did none of this. Myself personally included because once you think you have it something else happens to let you know no not quite lol. We all see some things differently because we are called for different roles and reasons. I really think you could clothe yourself in plain sack clothe and some one would still judge you for something you supposidly did. That is not good.

Thank you for correcting me. I apprieciate if something I say doesn't ring true a call out and a chance to reexamine because it is very easy to be swept up and led astray. I agree with everything you have posted and hope I have expanded enough you realize our hearts are the same on this matter. My life has been enhanced beyond measure and saved many times by what some would call a worthless freak to society and I love them more than life itself. I've been touched the most in my life by the complete society outcasts and throw aways, mainly bikers, ex-convicts, people I meet at the local food bank and homeless shelter, etc..

These are my friends and they have the biggest hearts of anyone you'd ever meet. None of them are pretty to look at, none of them speak "proper english" and they look like the castaways of the world and I count myself as one of them.

Well that is definitely valid but this thread was more about those that are basically covered in tattoo's from head to toe. That keep getting them over and over that think they are good and proud of them. It takes a lot of commitment to do that but what they may not realize is it's ugly.

So I was just expressing my impression when I saw a person such as this, covered in tattoo's. I could see it in his eyes that he knew he had messed up, that's what made me almost say to remove the tattoo's.

besides that it's also a good warning to others who may be on the verge of getting a tattoo.

Anyone that has a tattoo at this moment, it doesn't mean I'm better or your worse.

This goes to show that you are not seeing clearly, it's one thing to defend your tattoo, but here you are saying that tattoo's are good and that a true christian would have them, that they are not a sin to get them.

The bible clearly states not to do it. But not just the bible the part where it says, don't do it, it says after I am the Lord. As in this is directly the Lord telling you not to do it.

It would be one thing if you admitted ok yeah i made a mistake, I should not have got the tattoo.

It's another thing to try and say that tattoo's are fine. That's unchristian...

Oh I did not realize the part I bolded. That is seriously sad. I would bet also that the cost to remove them would be an incredibly painful and financial burden also. Faced to live repeatidly with remorse over mistakes made in the past. I wonder if he realizes no matter what has happened he can be forgiven. Just sounds like a very painful situation.

I am glad this is why you posted it struck a cord with me because I have judged like this just this past week. I went for ice cream and this woman was their with a couple of children. Totally indecent top with shorts. Voice loud enough to hear all the way out to the road lol. Teeth were all misshapen and black on some. You get the picture.

So im sitting there thinking man about two seconds more and I can't take it she is just nasty what in the world. And i look up a couple with children at the table next to me are staring at her and it was like my eyes went to tunnel vision on her. And I here this voice say why do you judge? What is her story everyone has one?

I got up and asked if she would mind to sit with me could I pay for her and her sons treats I would just like some company would you mind? So we sat and talked and what I learned was that they had very little money it was her sons birthday and the best she could do for him was that $2 ice cream cone. New to the area after her husband lost his job almost 2 years ago they came here for a job. The couple at the table next to me I can just pick up her talking to her son showing him what I did and smiling at me. I thought yes SHE gets it please teach your son this. For an hour we talked much longer than I intended but I gave open invitations if they need a church or ministry etc.

She was not the ugly one my heart was ugly that day so I fixed it as best I could. I would not want another Christian to ever be as disgusted with themselves as I was that day. Pray for her and her family that we will see each other on Sunday in church I would love to watch God enhance her life beyond measure.

I was doing some banking it was being a customer of the bank. Of course it was my business.

And people with tattoo's, it would be best if they didn't qualify for a bankcard as that would help keep society in order. They would soon get rid of their tattoo's. And it's doubtful anyone would get a tattoo knowing they would be unable to get a bank card....

Well you know my position on money. Money is the root of all evil. It should not be difficult for a person to become respectable. Ideally banks would not exist. The entire concept of credit is based upon selfishness.

Our society is in deep trouble ofcourse, you can't do anything without money, it's totally insane.

People wonder what you would replace money with.

How about the bible?

This is how lost people have become....they honestly do not understand what life is without 'money'.

They also consider genesis not just unscientific but against science. So that's a big trap that they have also been deceived into.

Getting a tatoo requires the sheading of blood. It creates a soul tie. Usually it becomes a pathway for demonic oppression.

The moral of the story is... OP is an ass for judging something that has no effect on anyone but the person with it.

I don't think by tattooing yourself with symbols or anything, you'll be more spiritual. And I personally see no use of tattoos just for the sake of looking cool, though I do appreciate good body art when I see it.

The one reason I would ever get a tattoo is if there was something important enough to me that I needed a reminder of. If I wanted to make a big change in my life, or developed some kind of big life goal, I'd consider getting a tattoo for it. If I promise to change something about who I am (and we all know how difficult that is), then I can see a tattoo as a good reminder if I was to ever get distracted.

It's one thing to graffiti a wall or a building. A wall is an inanimate object.

But to use your body as some sort of canvas for a painting? That is the ultimate insult to oneself and others.

However, yes, people should make sure their kids are dressed appropriately- and, my young ladies have been taught not to bend over, but to crouch for exactly that reason. Ladies don't bend over like that.... LOL. Too many freaks out there.

I agree. But don't we all take a second glance whether it's a woman or child dressed inappropriately? Then trying not to stare has got to be obvious too, or at least it feels like that.

My husband would never let our little girl out dressed like that, I won't let her wear some skirts out in public because they are too short but she can play in them at home. The girl at McDonalds came in with her dad, it was like they were all trying to look "cool". When in actuality loose fitting clothes keep people cooler because they create a breeze underneath.
