Re: Tao Te Ching
as there are questions which there are no answers, so there are answers to questions that were never asked. what is balance? both are essential. everything that ever was is essential to make what is.

Tao Te Ching > Bible.

Tao Te Ching is unbiased knowledge, while the Bible is perverted to make a clergy rich and powerful through it's comic book story.

"My sayings are very easy to recognize
and very easy to apply.
But no one in the world can recognize them,
and no one can apply them.
Sayings have a source,
events have a leader.
It is only through ignorance
that I am not known.
Those who know me are rare;
those who emulate me are noble.
This is why sages dress plainly,
and conceal what is precious."

72nd Verse

When people lack a sense of awe,
there will be disaster.
When people do not fear worldly power,
a greater power will arrive.

Do not limit the view of yourself.
Do not despise the conditions of your birth.
Do not resist the natural course of your life.
In this way, you will never weary of this world.

Therefore, the sage knows himself
but makes no show of himself;
loves himself
but does not exalt himself.
He prefers what is within to what is without.

Re: Tao Te Ching
One person can influence a mass awakening, just planting the seed, information can turn viral overnight spread to others, multiple nations and many countries, and beyond. An individuals experience, their observations and opinions are unique and the individual fits somewhere in this puzzle. One person, their observations and unique experience can be so so very the same yet even the most minuscule difference such as the wind can have an adverse affect in the direction and intension of one compared to the other. It is not to be in perfect sync with any other person and unlimited amount of possibilities. Not one person is the same although we all fit in the puzzle and an alternative piece would not equal to, for example, the original shape, size, and the personality you would notice in people at an atomic or subatomic scale, the piece is not replaceable. You have meaning, and you are ultimately at peace because you are connecting right now and will eventually be 'still', as we observe our universe you can see the stillness manifesting, it is beautiful.

You are here because without you, there would not be a variable. Could not we question nor compare, feel or understand ourselves and the harmony of source, the balance needed to understand. Together we seek unified truth, do you understand you are 'exceeding' set limitations! Manifesting into a limitless quantum singular existence. We are attracted to finding an answer, accounting for all variables and taking into account that existance has a connection to source, via void, a loop within itself, eternity In that infinite space of boundless galaxies and spiraling matter is just a piece of the puzzle and once again when we will be at source, the puzzle will be forgotten. We chose to be here, the balance is important, it is always going to exist and it is our firewall.

The answer is combining all the infinite variables and slightest differences to fill the void, the inevitable conclusion, a 'stable state'. Imagine, simultaneously balancing between existance and void. The Yin and the Yang. A stable state, experiencing and seeking through your understanding and ultimately having no evidence to suggest that the truth is real and anything in this reality is merely a simulation, or a place to experience and learn, looking externally lets you embrace who we are, but to 'know', you have to look inside of oneself, trust yourself.

Look internal of oneself, plant the seed, once you see the infinite and why it is so, there is nothing to fear. To make a decision, we want to believe it is right, but truth is neither wrong or right because every negative feeling or action exists and so does the positive, whether we learn from our mistakes or not, there is going to be a time we are one and you cannot run from guilt then.

So why exactly are we separated and why am I here?

"To love we must feel hate, to appreciate something we must experience loss, to feel joy we must feel pain, to remember... we must forget."

I wrote that when I was a teenager, I am 23 now, I didn't understand the last point, it just fit and sounded right. It really is the most important, it fills me with more detail and and believe we are all going to be fine. Everyone, no matter what is done will be done. To blame is not to help, to forgive is true honest love.

Let go and let yourself flow..,,

Re: Tao Te Ching
Chapter 77

The Tao of Heaven
Is like drawing a bow
Lower that which is high
Raise that which is low
Reduce that which has excess
Add to that which is lacking

The Tao of heaven
Reduces the excessive
And adds to the lacking

The Tao of people is not so
It reduces the lacking
In order to offer to the excessive

Who can offer their excess to the world?
Only those who have the Tao
Therefore sages act without conceit
Achieve without claiming credit
They do not wish to display their virtue!

Re: Tao Te Ching
Ch. 8-9

The supreme good is like water,
which nourishes all things without trying to.
It is content with the low places that people disdain.
Thus it is like the the Great Way.

In dwelling, live close to the ground.
In thinking, keep to the simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don't try to control.
In work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present.

When you are content to be simply yourself
and don't compare or compete,
everybody will respect you.

Fill your bowl to the brim
and it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife
and it will blunt.

Chase after money and security
and your heart will never unclench.
Care about people's approval
and you will be their prisoner.

Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity.

there are 2 aspects of will

the yang aspect - the outward searching , directed , focused
and the yin aspect - the 'letting go ' and going with the flow '

in martial arts the yin powers the yang

you need to let go of searching and see where just living , following your heart ( not your head ) leads you
when it inspires you , follow it , explore , and apply your yang will to the task

when it has given you all you need for now , recognise that and move along , taking life in -allow yourself to be directionless and just experiencing ( yin will)

and another thing will pop up to inspire you -and that inspiration is your guide

it's your journey - both aspects of your will are of use and serve your best interest ( but yin powers yang -not the other way around )

My favorite Seventy-Six:

A man is born gentle and weak.
At his death he is hard and stiff.
Green plants are tender and filled with sap.
At their death they are withered and dry.

Therefore the stiff and unbending is the disciple of death.
The gentle and yielding is the disciple of life.

Thus an army without flexibility never wins a battle.
A tree that is unbending is easily broken.

The hard and strong will fall.
The soft and weak will overcome.

That would have been true if you didn't say anything, and didn't post.

But by posting, you said something, and so your words are not the eternal Tao.

And neither are my words now.

But what is the silence after I stop speaking, and you stop reading?
