Rainbow Six book - Have you read it? Please spoil it for me.

A radical group of environmental terrorists are attempting to depopulate the earth - like 95% depopulation, so that our planet may heal herself. The biological agent they will use needs to be tested and they are using homeless people as guineapigs.

They were testing some biological weapon on them. In the end they plan to use it at a sporting event, I want to say the Olympics but it's been so long since I read it. Anyway they plan on dispersing it through the airconditions systems and those machines that mist you. I might have to read it again...very awesome book if you have the time for it.

Thanks. I am spending my reading time on other books at the moment. I watched Clear And Present Danger again the other night and that got me thinking about Rainbow Six. I was always curious about what happened with the homeless people and the medical experiments.

Did the book ever get into them being put back on the street being sick, or disappearing?

I don't think any of them made it out alive during the experiments.

Also the "eco terrorists" doing the depopulation experiments are a pharmaceutical company...their plan was to depopulate the masses, allowing the "elites" to survive. If I remember correctly after the plan was thwarted they had retreated to their luxury compound in south America, but rainbow six found them and destroyed it, but I'm pretty sure they let the criminals live to see if they could fend for themselves in the jungle.
