Sandy Hook resident Robert Hoagland missing; possibly connected to case

Okay - I knew something was missing, and here it is: Justin Craparo, son of Deb Pisani Craparo, the "mystery" wounded teacher at Sandy Hook, is himself a graduate of the Newtown High School culinary program, taught by Lori Hoagland. (Robert Hoagland, the missing man, is himself a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America).

So in a nutshell, Robert Hoagland's potential connections to the case are:

1. Lives right by Sandy Hook School
2. Wife taught Justin Craparo, son of wounded Sandy Hook teacher
3. Wife teaches/taught J. Feinstein, son of Sandy Hook teacher who was in school during shooting
4. Works real estate in Sandy Hook

Which is referred to as "CIA".

Note: Laura Feinstein is a significant and outspoken Sandy Hook witness. She said she tried to call 911 but had no reception. She is said to have lost three of her own students (she's a special ed and reading specialist at SHS). She told the New York Times she heard "gunshots going on and on." Laura is the sister-in-law of WTOP mid-day anchor Debra Feinstein and she spoke with WTOP hours after the shooting.

Transcript from WTOP:

"I was not an eyewitness to the shooting. I did not see the shooter or any potential victims. I was in the back of the building, in my classroom. Getting ready to greet my students.
They were on their way down and I heard an unusual noise, which was kind of metallic sounding - 'pop, pop, pop.' It sounded like gunshots.
And I hurried my two kids into the classroom, I locked the door and called the office. And the office secretary picked up the phone and I said, 'Is everything OK?' And she said, 'There's someone in the building shooting.' And then I hung up.
I took my two kids, we were hiding under the computer desk and behind the shelves. I tried calling 911, but my cellphone didn't have reception so I texted my husband and asked him to call for me and we were just waiting."
And we just kept hearing shots and shots and shots and shots. It was a lot of them. I don't know how many, but lots. We just waited and hoped and prayed that someone would come get us out safely and they did."
Feinstein says she and her two students waited 40 minutes before someone came in and let them out of the room. She says it felt like an eternity.

Feinstein says she could hear what was happening in the school's main office as the intercom was left on."

There are multiple Hoagland kids who were in school (or not in school, as the case may be) with "Adam Lanza" at Newtown High.

Notice in the Bee story they don't say who reported him missing? Just that police are looking for him. He was last seen at 5:30am on Sunday.

Why is this story out today?

It's a long shot, but what if Kari, as a friend of Robert Hoagland, heard that from Robert?

Rocky Glen state park runs almost the entire way from Sandy Hook School to Robert Hoagland's house. If I were escaping on an ATV, I damn sure wouldn't ride down mains street if a handy state park were nearby. Did the ATV rider emerge somewhere near the Hoagland residence? Obviously just brainstorming here.

It is odd, particularly because his wife is well known in the community, and all they say is "a guy is missing." He's also a known realtor in the area.

Remember, that police dog was leading officers from the suspect vehicle/side of school area, into the woods NW of the school. That's exactly in the direction of Rocky Glen state park.

Says no address given as well.

Okay so he either got " disappeared " or he got out of dodge.

Creepy how clear the photos are of him. Must be HD Surveillance everywhere....yuk

Look at the overhead maps [link to maps.newtown-ct.gov] You can clearly make out several ATV trails that cut through the woods and end up in the backyards of several residences both on Riverside and Philo Curtis road. One of the secretary's (nake eludes me ATM) son had a friend who lived on Philo Curtis.

I found this post by a real estate agent on another thread. Maybe this is your guy. He says works in real estate and he just bought a home in Sandy Hook. I copied it below..

I also know of the company "earth works" because the home owner told me most of the people in the area had sold to them. I did not hear the home owner call it by the new name. He's not new to the area - his wife Lori has been teaching culinary arts in Newtown High for some time.

I really hope be wrong - or whatever the answer, I hope he's safe. Don't need anyone else caught up in this sordid mess. Godspeed Mr. Hoagland, wherever you are.

If this is the same guy then maybe "Earth Works" knows where he is. I got a bad feeling about it as soon as I read the name Hoagland.

GE Financial connection, same as Mr. Lanza, bet they both work or worked in the accounting department, eh.

Also, they are putting a pipe line through there, right; maybe that is why the news people are calling it New Town now?

Wasn't there a guy named Richard Hoagland who used to do conspiracy shows and stuff about the Mars monoliths. It's a different name but maybe they're related?
