Sitting around waiting for "doom" is basically wasting the little precious time you were given to enjoy here on this planet.

Yeah maybe, doin nothing and waiting for doom without critical thinking and without filtering disinformation (which is 90-95% btw) is wasting time, but so is to remain in sleep state and living as if nothing happens. What about objectively gathering knowledge, filtering information, analyzing and connecting the dots... And, it beats vegging in front of the Boob Tube!!
