Help with a dream

I was standing on a beautiful river bank watching an alligator cross. I was not scared, it was beautiful, not like something you would see in this world. There was a wooden bridge at the alligator' s crossing. I kept watching to see, if he would cross. He did not, stayed in the water, but he knew I was watching. Next event, I am standing in a room with three men. I know all these men love me. One of these men, I was very much in love with and dated for seven years. The other two, I did not know. They had beards, which I do not like. I spoke to each of them and told them, I understand the love you have for me, but I need time. I can not choose at the moment, I have not been with a man, since my daughter. The person I choose has to understand the importance of this decision, to hold on and wait for me, I will know who is worthy. Then I woke up.

Any help will be appreciated, because I am confused.

I did forget something I feel is important, before the dream ended, I prayed asking, if I could truly love love a man with a beard? The answer was yes.
