Historical fantasy novel fans.
If you enjoy the historical fantasy genre read His Magisties Dragon by Naomi Novick.
It's sort of a Horatio Hornblower with a dragon airforce thrown in. Set in England during the Napoleonic War.

I was just going to say, read Harry Turtledove. I love his books. My favorites being Guns of the South and the World War series.

Sort of off topic, but I love a good book discussion. I know it's a different genre, just wondering.

Have any of you guys read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series?

Re: Historical fantasy novel fans.
Well, the Wheel of Time is set in a fantasy universe, with good vs. evil, magic and swords and such.

Typical fantasy world more or less. But the premise is that time is all interwoven. Basically, history repeats itself, but it can be changed. I'm not that good at discribing it.

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose.... The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of time. But it was a beginning."
