If children learn early on that they can do anything without repercussions, they will keep doing anything they want. Even worse, they will naturally try to push whatever boundaries that are left.

This is what happened to Trayvon Martin. He attacked his bus driver, but the bus driver was pressured to drop charges. He was caught with a pile of stolen jewelry, but the police were pressured to write it down as found jewelry. He was caught with drugs and defacing school property, but instead of arresting him, they suspended him.

He needed to see how far he can go, so he did by getting high on lean and attacking a 'Creepy Ass Cracker'.

If they had given him boundaries early on, and punished him for his crimes, he might be alive today.

The "disparate" treatment is ok, that should be standard for EVERYONE. So if the white kid or hispanic kid brings a knife to school he gets expelled. If the black kid brings a knife to school he gets expelled.

The problem is IF the government is truly enforcing quotas.
That's a BIG problem. The quota is just a free pass, and they'll figure it out fairly quickly.

If I were a teacher, I'd hang on the "disparate" treatment clause and not even give a second thought to quotas; they can't fire you for obeying and enforcing school policy regardless of quotas, not without expecting a big lawsuit.

But if you READ through the Executive Order, it is saying that they must NOT punish all the kids the same way!! Rather than punish for the CRIME itself (i.e., Justice is blind like it is SUPPOSED to be) the punishment would be dealt out according to an accident of birth of the perpetrator.

It is similar to the "Affirmative Action" model, where a company is MANDATED to have a certain percentage of minorities in their employee makeup. This can result in a well-qualified candidate being passed over while a less-qualified candidate receives the job because of having to fill the "quota".

So, say that the "crime rate" percentage of a school must go right down the middle, 50-50. That means that for every minority infraction/discipline there must show a white infraction/discipline. That means that school officials must either discipline a WHOLE bunch more white students, OR (if they don't want their statistics to look like Fort Apache The Bronx) NOT discipline a whole bunch of minority students who NEED to be disciplined, but doing so would change the percentage.

You guys have obviously not read the Order. It speaks more towards a community organization resource and initiative. NOTHING pertaining towards treating black students differently than white students....stop being ignorant and READ.
