With her vital signs failing fast, she asked rescue crews to pray with her. ... a man who looked like a Catholic priest seemed to appear out of nowhere, despite a 2-mile perimeter blocking the scene. "He began to pray and use the anointing oil," New London Fire Chief Raymond Reed said. "There was a calmness that, to me, seemed to come over the entire scene." Firefighters say their equipment kept failing until the mystery man showed up. "The words were to remain calm, that our tools would now work," Reed said. "Instantaneously, at that moment, our neighboring department arrived with fresh extrication tools." ................. Quite a lot of the reported near death experiences that involved accidents and children contained incredible details from the children themselves - of being saved by angels - in situations where no one else was around to save them - and sometimes grownups report such things, too. I was just watching one story of a severe car accident on CBN this morning - witnesses saw people pulled from a crushed car through small/impossible spaces by "invisible/white glowing" hands, etc. Some people describe being about to crash or just in an accident, and a voice tells them just what to do to save themselves, or the others in the crash - like instantaneous knowledge/foreknowledge for survival. It's really incredible how we are each watched over.  |

He specifically mentioned this story abou the girl hit by the drunk driver - he said that the "priest" that showed up and helped the girl and turned the situation around, also was not seen in any of the 80 photos taken at the seen. The crash, paramedics, victim, everything was photographed as it was happening, but never once did they get the mysterious minister of God in any of them.   |

I would like to point out some flawed logic, at least until there is more facts about this story. 1. He was a mystery man dressed as a priest 2. He used anointing oil 3. He told everyone to remain calm and their tools wouldn't work 4. NO WHERE did they say that this man called on the power of God I'd be really interested in knowing what "prayer" he actually said or used. What words did he utter? Or was he whispering words that the responders couldn't hear and they are simply calling it "prayer." So, you are making a lot of assumptions about this "mystery man" to fit your own narrative. I'm not saying he was or was not a guardian of some kind. What I'm pointing out is that this young woman received help from someone or something. |

Think of a baby born in todays world without any religion surrounding them, they will grow up without religion and think, feel, hear, smell the same way everyone else does, just without the placement of the lord in their mind. The bible says those who do not know or believe will parish and go to hell. The priest could have been an eyewitness to the wreck who said the prayer and walked away with a word of encouragement to the rescuers about their equipment working. Maybe he drove up to the roadblock and told the cop he's a priest and they let him in to give last rights to the victim, and then he left. Having said this, I hope I'm wrong. There are things in this world we can't explain, and miracles do happen. |

Satan can bring accidents and disease; he can just as easily "help" in order to deceive us. Not every miracle is from God.
