Dumbest thing in the world, and the people on the show
giving a grade agreed with me.
Basically there is a reason people don't build "castles"
anymore.
Its called GUNPOWDER.
I read about a Nazi sub pen in WWII, had rebar out the ass, steel beams, all kinds of shit, but when they heard the
allied bombers they got the hell outta dodge, only
could save one sub.
One guy with one (1) stick of dynamite will be able to blow a hole in any "castle".

Don't worry they won't.
The few survivors if any, will be in the right place at the right time when teotwawki happens.
As far as hiding and storing up stockpiles, well that will make you an easy target for one thing.
It will also make you have to stay put in one location.
Nobody knows what the end will bring or what catastrophes will happen so how could you truly prepare for the unknown?
I've always been a fly by the seat of my pants type of chick and I imagine that will come in handy one day.
