One sub was identified as the INS Sindhurakshak S63. A powerful anti-ship, fast attack sub due to advanced russian designed anti-ship missile platform.

They can fire the 3M-54 Klub

UPDATE: Confirmed the INS launched it's Aircraft Carrier earlier that week.

Aircraft Carriers do not ship off from port with aircraft on them. They sit off shore and load up one at a time. The pilots land and take their bunks. However, munitions are pre-loaded except for precious cargo.

The Carrier was probably going to be operation in a week or so after loading up aircraft for several days.

The explosion is very suspicious. As the sub was probably loading nuclear weapons hours before push off.

The timing of the explosion is remarkable.

Also, the media is being scrubbed of two subs involved. Now keeping at just one. The other is unnamed but greatly suspected to be the Russian built Nuclear Sub scheduled to be deployed about this time.

Something very fishy going on there.
