The dybbuk box, or dibbuk box (Hebrew: קופסת דיבוק, Kufsat Dibbuk), is a wine cabinet which is said to be haunted by a dybbuk. In Jewish folklore, a dybbuk is a restless, usually malicious, spirit believed to be able to haunt and even possess the living. The box achieved recognition when it was auctioned on eBay with an accompanying horror story and is the original inspiration for the 2012 film The Possession.

I've been trying to find the documentary of the real dybbuk box that the movie the possession loosely based itself on, does anybody know what it is by chance, that box had true documented stories behind it, it was amazing everything that took place in many owners hands.

I think the episode of paranormal witness was the same box. I think the biography channel also did a documentary on this box.

The scenario if you buy this box: a). you'll either unleash something terrible on yourself or b). get scammed out of a nice chunk of change. It's a no win situation

If you brought that home, it would go right in the garbage, no questions asked, and you would go out with it, if you insisted on keeping it. I remember my father bringing a lamp home when I was small, that had some kind of image my mother thought was devilish. He wanted to keep it, it gave her the creeps. She just through it out the 3rd story window.

OP, happy wife, happy life. If she feels so strongly about this - and I agree with her - you would be really foolish to try to bring it home.
