oh, and although we have already established that this is a hoax, I have to wonder where the term dybbyk box is coming from - this is obviously a jewellery box. if one does a google image search on dybbuk boxes they are entirely different.

It's interesting that in this ebay listing and in the other thread about weird objects found in their grandfather's house that the author uses the word "estate" to describe the home.

It's an unusual choice of word for a home which probably isn't an "estate."

Not really uncommon. Even my grandparents who had a very modest home had an "estate sale" when they moved into assisted living. It's just a common term used by companies/families who facilitate sales of things left in houses after someone is gone.

Wail moving the box to a new area I could smell a faint decaying smell, not of an animal but kind of earthy. Also a coin fell out in a small clump of dirt ,I cleaned it of to see what year, Its a 1925 wheat penny. It well also come with the box. The new boxes mentioned before, going to the blessed land, are not going to be for sell.


A coin fell out? Well damn, that box wasn't even sealed....the possession is gone....

It could have fallen out of the opening on the left side where it appears that small vase is, didn't they say somewhere that they could see something buried in the mud there, but couldn't tell what it was.

I believe in the devil. I have dealt with attacks and oppression, I believe in evil, as I said. I am a Christian and I learn more every day. Am I a perfect person, or do I feel like I am holier than thou, to the point where I believe I am having plenty of opportunities to be "facing off with evil" as you put it? No. And it honestly sounds really pompous for someone to say that.

I believe in Christ, that He was God, and that only His blood can save us. I talk to people about it, I pray for His will to be done.

Maybe you are battling with holy water and crucifixes every day, and if so, kudos. But most Christians, IMO, are simply trying to get to know the Lord better every day, reading the Bible and trying to spread the good news where they can. With humility, not bragging about facing pure evil in battle every day.

I'm not going to go back and search like I did yesterday but, that 1925 wheat penny I saw in his feedback profile he is either buying or selling them by the rolls.
If this creation wasn't evil initially, probably is is now with all the lies and negative intent it was created with.

I also wonder how many of the other bidder were actually real. Seems to me a shady group of people like this are not above fake bidding on their own items to up the bid. Theya re probably pretty peeved that you stopped bidding and left them holding the bag. Be interesting to follow this item. If they ended up having to buy it from themselves, rest assured it will show up in a month, with the new story that the people that bought it sent it back because it was just too dang haunted to keep. I think they should be reported to ebay for selling fraudulant itmes, lol. That would be hilarious!

Interesting doll. It does not look old enough for one. Also, the back story sucks. Reads like bad fiction. The stupid "jewish" names - even in the 1920's I am pretty sure jewish people did not have names like that.
