It's interesting that in this ebay listing and in the other thread about weird objects found in their grandfather's house that the author uses the word "estate" to describe the home.
It's an unusual choice of word for a home which probably isn't an "estate."
Quoting: WinterWx Not really uncommon. Even my grandparents who had a very modest home had an "estate sale" when they moved into assisted living. It's just a common term used by companies/families who facilitate sales of things left in houses after someone is gone.
