In any regards the person that wins will be under control of the shadow government. I still think the whole Julia Gillard debacle (we never voted her in) was because those behind the government wanted Rudd out. Either because he didn't agree with what they wanted or for the fact that they wanted to bring in all these new legislations under someone who wouldn't care.

It was Swans' idea to tax the Mining companies at such a high rate, not Rudds. Rudd just took the fall.

If you do some research Gillard was involved with some shady political parties and there is PROOF that she is a closet lesbian. Her whole image is a farce and she is a hypocrite.

Rudd will win the election, either by the public or a rigged election. Reasons because the person who has the Public Relations job. Needs to communicate well with the Chinese. Reasons because we are going to see a BIG change in the next year.

With WWIII around the corner. Australia has to decide whether to side with China or the USA. Otherwise we are going to see something that will change the country. I have no idea what it could be. But it will be a huge change in the way we live. imho.

Our relations with China are pretty good atm. In fact our trade agreements are what is keeping the relationship so strong, and I think they like Rudd. Due to him knowing mandarin.

In any case I really don't think it matters who is in. Abbott has basically no idea. Rudd has been in the position before and now knows what is wanted from him.

If you vote Tony Abbott in he will get rid of the carbon tax and replace it with his direct action policy of paying your tax money to the same high polluting companies to 'help them' invest in cleaner technologies and thus reduce pollution that way. Your energy bills will not come down in price. These companies will pocket the dollars, 'investing' in technologies that they dont want to work because what they want is to keep qualifying for the direct action money. The incentive is for them to keep polluting and asking for more taxpayer money.
Think hard, polluters pay the carbon tax or your tax dollars do... plus slower internet, NO Thanks!

Also, Rudd was "kicked out" or rather stabbed in the back by his own party because he wasn't following their agenda. He was doing the right thing by the PEOPLE of the country, and not lining the pockets of the infinitely wealthy.

If I was actually an Australian citizen (I'm only a permanent resident) I'd vote for Rudd. Seems that the majority of the Australian population agree, since "ranga" got out-voted by the people, which is why Rudd is back at the helm.
