When the grid goes down the nuke plants in the US will ALL melt down within two weeks. A cave won't save you unless it's located in Paraguay or Namibia

Also that cave is what people in the UK call a "quarry" (different to what we call a quarry). It's man made. With a little drainage planning you could probably get rid of the water. The vivid blue water could mean it's been contaminated with arsenic at some stage and that shit hangs around. I've seen tin mining areas in Australia which were abandoned in the 1950s and the creeks and ponds are still too toxic to safely drink or eat the fish.
