I had been sober for a smidge over two years, with my date of sobriety having originally been August 10th of 2011. I drank last night with my girlfriend and to be quite frank, I enjoyed the temporary release and the warm feeling that it brought upon my body and mind. I am at home now and I am drinking again. A little Jack Daniels and some coca-cola. I do not feel bad for drinking and I will not be telling my sober friends that I drank.
