I was born as an Orthodox Christian in a communist country, thought I never had the patience to read the entire Bible, I was often in conflict with Christianity, but in present I'm kind of neutral, not hating, not loving, I see bad and good in it etc..
When I was around 5 years old I started to question what my relatives said about GOD, I have a memory from that age with something I said.. but I am not sure if I really say it or I wanted too but never share it.. (fake memory).
I remember my grandmother always telling me “don't do that... GOD will punish you and send you to Hell”.. and one time I told her something like.. “please spare me, the so called GOD can't stay on clouds because he will fall down and break his neck..” … I got in return the epic “shut up, don't speak like that bla bla bla”

My opinion is that all religions will become obsolete in some decades if those keeping these religions alive will fail to evolve as humans.

The problem has never been Jesus or the Bible.. the problem was how Jesus words or what is written in the Bible was interpreted by people...

When a person asks you a question about the bible for now on, just answer with "I don't know the Bible. I'm a christian."

Instead of saying something stupid like, "Jesus is God and he can do anything."

And then proceed to direct them toward someone who actually DOES study the scripture (not your pastor--he's a moran, too).
