Now that's a nice safe distance away which can't be disproved. No warming at all in 15 years buddy, it's been proven that alarming levels of manmade global warming is a total hoax. |

We will be experiencing changes like we have not seen in our lifetime (hundreds of thousands of years)....like the record flooding in Russia right now and the meandering jet stream which now dumps months worth of water in one spot like in Calgary...and India....I could go on and on....do you follow the weather and the news reports? We are experiencing climate change right now. |

Now that's a nice safe distance away which can't be disproved. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44115606 No warming at all in 15 years buddy, it's been proven that alarming levels of manmade global warming is a total hoax. Eh... That isn't wrong, but you are being disingenuous at the same time. (Meaning you're either being stupid or a liar. There is not other choice here.) How can it be both? Easy. In climate terms (meaning long term weather, not annual, or even by the decade.) there has been a clear long term warming trend. Seven of the top ten warmest years have taken place in the last twelve. The warmest year, 1997 (hey, fifteen years ago nearly! Amazing... Oh, wait no, it's math trickery, isn't it?) was tied in 2011 or 2012, depending on who you listen too. So that "stayed the same." That 1997 had an incredible and unprecedented set of weather conditions, and has been matched, is not cooling. Now, these statistics ALWAYS work over at least thirty years. Not fifteen. And guess what? As a trend goes, we're warming, a lot. As for the models, that thought is just wrong. The models are within parameters in the main. yes, it's near the lower predictions (or the central ones in some models) but it's right there. These liars are claiming that since not all of the predictions for each model run are correct (they run three separate ones in on average, with a high, expected and low model. So there will always be at least two that aren't correct.)it means that they have failed. Only people that don't read the science will think that however. Also, we've still had a lot more warming than people are thinking. It's just that they had to add in the warming of the deep oceans, since the heat is warming a lot more than anyone dreamed of, as far as saline water goes. The energy, which is the problem here, is in the system already. Is it "man made" global warming? Given the science, then yes. It most likely is. Can we do anything about it? No. The oceans are about to die in the next forty to sixty years, and then it's game over for humanity. It's too late, and you've stalled long enough. You're getting what you want, the destruction of all human beings. Thanks for you help. Good work there. Really. |

Agreed, even the staistics were being manipulated against the better judgement of more learned scientists and then the 'suicides' and 'fatal accidents' ' started to rise higher than the altered global warming rates... So now it is clinate change, a more fitting name for the current state of affairs, and mostly caused by industrial pollution, and disiaters such as the gulf coast affair and fukishame. We the people, of course, are to blame no doubt, especially for the climatic changes happening on other planets! Regardless, something mass sized this way comes and no matter what is said, that cannot be reversed, just like the way it is affecting the sun, which is dying, and the brightness everyone talks about? It is just a stage in the process, and it is not going to happen in a billion years, it is fa closer to out lifetimes than you are lead not to believe.... |

They are looking at melt at 90 now. Yeah. all of it. On the good side, probably not this year. That's my guess though, based on observation over a few years, not science. I could be wrong and it might all melt. I just don't think so, for this year. It's way past the 81 parallel. |

So its silly to think the sun is going into hibernation, was late with the uptick in activity this time around, had two unprecedented giant holes, one being a fourth of the surface in recent months, additional production of solar particles than usual bombarding earth, and cosmic rays entering earth from an unkown source in space is it? The sun is getting brighter, you don't need scientific measurments to know this, you just need to leave yo mommas basement, and go outside and see it and feel the burn. |

The actual data does not support there claims. I know, gosh, it's almost like the earth's axis wobbles or something. But don't tell that to the alarmists. They all want to pretend the only variable in the equation is the miniscule amount of C02 produced by human activity which isn't even the first, second, or third largest source of CO2, a minor greenhouse gas, in the atmosphere. |

Arctic ice has never melted in the amount it has done this year alone, and never before has so much freshwater been added into the seas. The earth might be off wobble which can be caused by an excess of water, which we are starting to see with the amount of flooding worldwide, a thing which is uncommon. In fact, more climate records have been broken in the last ten years than at any other time in history, and these changes are not thw fault of the world's population, it is more likely a long cyclic event from space |

Sorry I forgot to mention the hundreds of dolphins dying along the East Coast - "Whatever the reason, dying dolphins send a warning to humans, Barco said. "Bottlenose dolphins are a higher-order predator. They're often referred to as 'ocean sentinels of health.' So when our bottlenose dolphins are healthy, it would probably indicate that we have a fairly healthy ecosystem. When our bottlenose dolphins are not healthy, it may very well indicate that our ecosystem is not healthy," she said." |

Quoting: watcher 844118 We are in deep deep trouble people - the leaked report is here in the link. Final document not written so they will be sure to tone it down. From the article: "We're on course to change the planet in a way "unprecedented in hundreds to thousands of years." Big deal. The planet has been in an ice age for MILLIONS OF YEARS. Ice ages can start and end at any time, nobody knows why, nobody can predict it. Telling people that they could stop the ice age from ending by "taxing carbon" is just ridiculous. "Quaternary glaciation, also known as the Pleistocene glaciation or the current ice age, refers to a series of glacial events separated by interglacial events during the Quaternary period from 2.58 Ma (million years ago) to present. During this period, permanent ice sheets were established in Antarctica and perhaps Greenland, and fluctuating ice sheets occurred elsewhere" [link to www.bbc.co.uk] |
