Great post! Let's not forget Paul's letter to the Thessaloinans. Paul wrote this letter in response to the Thess. actullay believing they had missed the Day of Christ, his return! Thess. 2:2 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; A "falling away" is translated from apostsia=apostacy! The defintion of Apostacy is "defection" or revolt Can non-believers defect from the faith of Jesus. No! Only believers can! This is why Jesus warned us so many times not to be decieved. Then the man of sin(antichrist) is revealed. This one verse destroys a pre-trib. view, the only way to make a pre-trib. veiw work is by scriptrual gymnastics!
