I think the KJV is the best. we will have to see what this new translation is like. whatever might have been lost in the translation to get the KJV it makes up for in depth and power of speech, and I must admit that those are important despite whatever abridgement there may be of the literal Word of God.
modern speech is so lacking in color, meaning, depth, power and clarity. if you want to read anything that means anything, it must be in classic prose. anything else is less and modern language is cheap as a polyester suit.
