The Holy Spirit Gave me Witness that, "No man who ever Loved Jesus with a True heart, even as a little child, will be lost or condemned." Such is Witness of being "saved".

Not being lost or condemned though is only the start, a beginning. The OP is under confusion; not being him/herself a Born-Again.

None can Come Unto The Father from fear. Only through surrender, grateful acceptance of HIS Will and desire to live according to HIS Will are we able to Come Unto The Father. Trusting God Fully for every aspect of our lives.

=Admit and repent of your sins,
=Claim your share of Father's Infinite Mercy & Grace,
=Give HIM your life, all of it; good & bad, Trusting HIM with your all and everything,
=Ask Father to Send HIS Holy Spirit to Guide your life.
HE Will, if you are sincere and honest....

Love Christ? Know WHO HE IS? Then Father has called your heart Unto HIM. Can you elect/choose to surrender self into HIS Care and Accept HIS Will?

Never seen anyone but a PureHeart or sinner be Born-Again. The pureheart loves God so fully, but cannot find their way Unto HIM, so stymied and frustrated, they finally capitulate everything Unto HIM and voila!, they've found The Way Unto The Father. A sinner has no other resource. He/she prays God IS All they ever Believed, and they Ask HIM to Take Control of their life, truly meaning their desire to have HIM Control their life and fully Accepting HIS Will as perfect where theirs was nothing but problems.

OP has no clue about being Born-Again. Abiding IN & With God is all you need in life. There is no "lead a life of Faith". Knowing God Personally and Directly has superseded the issues of Belief and Faith. Faith is what you act on when you give your life to The Father. Knowing HIM brings you way beyond Faith and Belief...

26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
