Born-Again? St. John's Witness of the Born-Again Life is in his First Epistle. Chapter 2 is especially concise.

In verses 18-27, John Witnesses that there are those Believers who were unable to manifest their hearts to God and thus (v.19) they no longer continue with us...

18. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.


20. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
24. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
25. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
26. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.


27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.


Born-Again?
Have The Father's Anointing and An Unction From The Holy One?
Been IN Father's Presence?

Unless you KNOW and Experienced making your surrender, having Come Into The Father's Presence, you are only making presumption and rationalization.

Jesus Witnesses in Matt 22 that to attend The King's Wedding Feast For HIS SON, you must have A Wedding Garment. Your Wedding Garment is your Born-Again Heart...

Can't be Born-Again and not be able to testify and witness how it happened and what you did to take action. If your heart is motivated and you Trust God Fully, you cannot go wrong. Christ Made Our Way as "propitiation for sins" and by Bringing The Gospel. The Action is not clearly spelled out. Can read Matthew ch 13 and find out why. Your heart either "hears & sees The Gospel" or it does not. None who seek HIM by intellectual means/study will find HIM. All a matter of heart, not your brain or studied learning...

St. John Witnesses about those unable to make their Leap Of Faith, their surrender:

Jesus Witnesses in Matt 7 that HE Only Knows those who Do HIS Father's Will, and many will seek admission only to be turned away; even those who "did mighty works, cast-out demons, and prophesied In HIS Nam".
21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.


Only Born-Agains are Delivered from their carnal/iniquitous heart (By The Father), and Only Born-Agains are Enabled (By The Father) to Do HIS Will.

Got enough heart, enough Love & Trust to give your life unreservedly and completely Unto The Father?
