The God Consciousness Experience Project
I have a theory:

God is immortal and eternal, but he is not the only one. There is a race of immortals. They all have the same capabilities.

Creation is a proving ground, of sorts. Maybe a hobby, maybe therapy, maybe a process they all must go through. Who knows.

So one of these "god" beings is going to go through the process of, let's call it: Creation Refinement.

So a multi-dimensional universe is created, and the god consciousness is shattered into all the various living things that populate our planet, for the purpose of maximum experience. I'm talking everything... trees, squirrels, dinosaurs, bugs, people. It is all One. A singular consciousness fragmented into billions of pieces so that the god being can get full exposure to the "Life Experience" simultaneously, and certainly much faster than one creature and one life at a time. There is no "You" "Me" "Them", etc... we are all pieces of the whole.

So now then... as something "dies", the consciousness breaks off into one of the other dimensions and continues. This would explain some of the other topics about that. You don't really die, you just jump to an alternate reality and continue. It's a refinement process. More and more pieces of consciousness are collected into higher and higher dimensions, all moving forward toward the goal of a complete experience. Lower dimensions are dissolved as the last of "life" is extinguished from them, as they are no longer needed.

This would also explain the Holographic Universe idea. It basically is. Except there is no programmer, the programmer is the Creator. It is a system of Mind, not nuts & bolts.

This also would coincide with religion. God created the world, etc etc.. man was whipped up from the dirt, etc. etc... and the whole Good versus Evil as part of the refinement process, and of course for the experience. Evil is required. There can be no light without dark. No white without black.

So what's the end goal? Is it to become a more well-rounded superior being? Is it all just for fun out of immortal boredom? Is it a rite of passage requirement of the immortals society? Who knows. But plausible?

Discuss.

This would also explain why "God" doesn't intervene when "bad things happen". It's all about the experience, the good and the bad.

Perhaps "Hell" is a metaphor for the trimming away of the parts of the Consciousness that it doesn't want to keep. (refinement). Part of the process.

Perhaps the whole "you must believe in Jesus" stuff is just about, you have to believe in yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, you cannot continue to be a part of the greater Consciousness at higher refinement levels.

Just spitballin' here.

Re: The God Consciousness Experience Project
Very interesting but what were doing is trying to work out and explain the cosmos in ideas and thoughts, and that will never be successful. Thoughts, symbols, are all abstracts. Come to a point rather where trying to make sense dissolves, and all there is left is stillness. You then find yourself observing a happening world.

Who is observing this world? You will realize the observer itself was just a thought in an endless stream of thoughts.

Back to your idea, why several "gods"? Who is playing them? One ultimate source anyways?

Hmm... not necessarily a unified observer as we think of it, (watching over the whole), just experienced (observed) in billions of different ways simultaneously without direct knowledge of any of the other parts. An interactive thought simulation, but like partitions on a drive. Is the observer just another thought? That's kind of mind-blowing to think of.

I have no reasoning for multiple "gods", other than a singular all-encompassing eternal grand Consciousness seems like a lonely existence that can never end, yet perhaps if true, the reason for Creation in the first place? Maybe there is no "end goal". Maybe the Creation and experience itself IS the goal. Something to do.

Ever sat and observed people? How about observing with a different eye? I do. What if everybody you meet or see or has ever been is you...but just another version of you. Every kind of you being expressed. The good, the bad, and the ugly. That's why the golden rule has it's roots...do unto others as you would want done to you. Or when Jesus said that what ever you do to the least of my brothers....you do to me. Just a new perspective I've been entertaining.
