I just saw a commercial for DNA sequencing....

So this company apparently you buy the kit, take a saliva sample and put it in a test tube and send it to them, then 6 weeks later they post it "privately" to their website for your viewing pleasure.

It's commercial is aimed at determining conditions that you may be susceptible to like cancer, heart conditions, whatever. Apparently the commercial is geared to learning more about yourself.

What I find highly interesting is that the company was cofounded by Anne E. Wojcicki, "Wojcicki married Google co-founder Sergey Brin in May 2007"

So here you have a DNA sequencing company directly related to and probably funded by Google Inc.

It's a little disturbing that a DNA sequencing company is so closely related to a data mining, market dominating company like google.
