i hate this stupid new age shit, Nothing ever changed for the better because people sat back and didn't think or do anything about it. This is called apathy and it got us where we're at now. Stop with the stupid new age bullshit.

What you are describing is similar to the Release Technique (www.releasetechnique.com) and the Sedona Method. I'm not affiliated with either, but practice it. It is profound. It gets around / bypasses the ego (which really just wants to be loved and allowed to "leave") and feels very good. It is hard to describe and the ego tends to fight it off (I don't need that, it sounds silly, etc) - I know mine did. But I'm so grateful I gave it a chance.

You are right, we are powerful beings. We are not our egos, not our minds, not our bodies; but so much more. But our minds and egos don't want us to believe or understand that. And that is why TPTB do everything they can to heighten and empower the egos in us. Through the use of separation, polarization, victimization, blame, hate, jealousy, anger, fear, sadness, and on and on.

But we all know that all any of us want is to be happy. And you nailed it when you mentioned the "have/do/be" mentality. It is pure egoic thinking and a lie. But the ego loves lies and negativity, so it can stay in control by keeping you suffering. Because if you were truly happy, you wouldn't need the ego to tell you what to buy next, or who to impress next, etc. because you wouldn't have to. You'd already be happy.
That is what this technique / method allows. To feel happy in the moment, regardless of what is going on or how much you've "achieved" etc. and "feel" is the operative word here, since it is something you actually experience, and don't "think" it. It bypasses the mind entirely. You end up feeling pure love. It is amazing.

Indeed we (our minds) are conditioned.
We are conditioned thru evolution, by society, by our particular environments. This is fairly obvious.
Every movement of a conditioned mind is the movement of conditioning.
This is a fact obviously. So seeing this fact, does thought create a separate entity to operate on this problem "the higher self",( which is clearly just a fragment of thought from the same conditioned mind). Or is it possible that one does not run from the FACT and stays with it? Then what happens is Freedom- when you realize that there isnt a separate entity capable of freeing itself from itself then the "becoming" ends, it is the
Death of the ego. Only in death can there be a ending.
Only in ending can something new begin. When one is only concerned with "what is" then "what is" undergoes a mutation.

True, that's why I put a lot of energy into the belief that it only takes a small number of pioneers venturing into that difficult consciousness terrain, to forge the way for all the rest. I remember hearing there is a passage in the Bible that says, "The first shall go last and the last shall go first". Then I think of the line, "in a blink of the eye" and I figure that's what that means. Just like the scouts and pioneers of the Western frontier, nearly killed themselves to find and open up the way to the 'new world', then the rest of the populace plunked themselves down on soft, fancy, red velvet train car seats to get there in ease and comfort. I also work on not harboring any resentment about having to be a pioneer, lol. Once we get to the new world, (abundance/unity) it doesn't matter, as all people will feel honored and cherished by all other people.

I figured as much. I do understand the value of it though in the big scheme of things. Humans tend not to change until the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain it is going to take to change. So dramatically more intense psychic pain delivered to entire populace will increase chances for said pain to penetrate through a genetically 'inferior' low tolerance for pain threshold Human who will then conceivably hit bottom and begin the arduous journey up out unconsciousness. Allow enough time to go by for a critical mass of these 'inferior' low tolerance for pain threshold people to become conscious, and we have ascension. Simple but not easy.
