Probable narrative: Drop bombs on Syria because it is widely known as something to provoke Russia, Iran, and/or China. Since this provocation is established, a strike can be had on US soil while a good amount of US resources are over seas. Whether it be an actual attack or false flag, it will be expected and used as an excuse. UN can come in during marshall law to help keep the order and what do you know...they'll be needing your guns please. Oh look good thing those FEMA camps just happen to be ready to go!
