Here is one. You could interpret that Zacchaeus sought Jesus, and Jesus sought Zacchaeus.

Luke 19

5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” 6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.

7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.”
8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

I have been thinking about..

its like a fireman..who goes into a burning building to save lives..

when we accept christ..sometimes we dont know..if..to plant a seed in someone of christ...we may become a drug addict..or an alcoholic..or some other degrading..humbling being hated..being rejected..

then..after we look back..and know..christ walked..talked..and loves all.. for he was scorned..rejected..hated..for our sake!

Christ is seeking out those lost in milk toast teachers that they might eat meat to withstand blasting on the vine. Not just those that unbelieve.

They will be lost if they can't hold thier crown through the hour of temptation by none other than antichrist.

Proof is in Gods Word. One place is Isaiah chapter 8

Immanuel becomes a snare to believers. Why does He become a snare? Because they have not worked sincerely enough to understand Gods Word. They Love Christ but dont know Gods Word in its fullness. So when the devil comes posing as Christ, unbeknownst to them, he will make them all apostates and devil worshipers.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

"Let him that is without sin cast the first stone".

I love this story about all the people bringing the woman caught in adultery and all the accusers wanted to stone her and Jesus says- "let him that is without sin cast the first stone". And their hearts and conscience accused them all one by one and they left. Then Jesus asks- "Where have all thine accusers gone? Are there none that accuse you? " she says-" None Lord". Jesus then says " Neither do I- Go and sin no more".
Our lord is full of mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. Selah!

This story is such an example to us.

Not sure what your goal here , but we should walk like Jesus and look for sinners and treat the same, we have not done as he taught us, and that is why the world is so wicked. In fact many religions and Churches have cut themselves off from sinners in their nice buildings each week. Jesus didn't really seek out sinners. He waited for them to come to him. He didn't offer to perform miracles either, but did them when asked. For instance, when he healed the centurian's servant at a distance, it was only after the request, to make a point about faith. He could have healed like that all along, but he didn't volunteer the suggestion. It's a pity no one had great enough faith to ask him to heal all of Israel on the spot.

He had John to go before him demanding repentance of sinners so he wouldn't have to. He did seek out specific people, but those were his apostles.

Thje crowd of 5000 didnt ask to be fed..he offered.

All the people he raised from the dead did not ask either..he just did it.

And going by what you are saying Jesus said "I came for the lost to seek me and be saved"

But he didnt say that or do that.

He said "I came to seek and save the lost".

So go back to whatever satanic backwards church you go to and sit and wait for hungry people to come to you..cause Jesus told you to let em starve unless they asked right?
