I have to ask, if the Bible is the way to salvation, and Jesus the son of God, just wondering what happened to all the early Homo Sapiens who were genetically identical to us, but hadn't yet developed written language or our society?

Were they condemned to Hell as Jesus hadn't landed yet and at that time the Old Testament was only a glint in the eye of some Shaman?

And what about their precursors, who were very similar to us, like the Neanderthals, are they all in Hell now?

I think these are fair questions to ask of religious folk, please don't take them as attacks, or, if they must be considered attacks then consider them attacks on your logic.
