No their not. They are rated #1...back to back Champs. Started the season off with a win (BTW any time a team can win by 25 points and people call that a "bad game for them", that tells you how good they are), how could they be rated anything less than #1?

MisterWash(ed-up)..

In my spare time I read medical-related behavioral studies on why individuals attend Alabama and admit they are Crimson Tide followers.

In a subsection article titled "Crimson Tide Mental Cases," I noted that the estimated population of the great State of Alabama is about 4.8 million. Then I got to thinking, gee the estimated population of the Metro-Houston area is approximately 6.1 million.

Interesting stat. The article was interesting also.

Can you imagine 26 million people being excited after the game. It will be deafening.

The score isn't what made it a bad game. Their special teams saved them with two of those touchdowns. The negative part of their opener was McCarron's measly 110 yards through the air and sub-50% completions.

This is a game with major implications across college football, and it is certain to be an exciting battle throughout. If it turns out to be a blowout, though, at least viewers will have a chance to be entertained by Johnny Manziel's antics at all times.

In other words, There's a good chance Bama is going to blow out A&M, but at least you can listen to the clown during the thumping.

A&M won't be ranked in the top 10 after this game.

I agree with Mr. toilet roll that Saban isn't going anywhere. He's the highest paid coach in college football at $5.8M. But let's say that Texas offers him $7M, which is $2M more than they're paying Mack Brown. Do you believe he'd bolt Tuscaloosa for that raise? No, I think he'd just tell the Alabama AD that Texas offered him $7M, and he'd get a new contract at Alabama for $8M. Done.
