9/11 Movie - Who Killed John O'Neill?: FBI Special Agent in Charge of Counter-Terrorism Dies in WTC Attack

Due to the fact that the 9/11 anniversary is just around the corner, I decided to do a quick post on a very under-rated and little known art film done by dead art films to do with the death of John O'Neill.

So you are probably asking yourself... um, who is John O'Neill. Great question!

John O'Neill was the special agent in charge of the FBI counter-terrorism division until mid 2001. After dedicating a large part of his career to hunting down the notorious "Osama Bin Laden" (keep in mind this is prior to 9/11) John O'Neill left his position with the FBI due to being stone walled multiple times, preventing him from capturing this wanted individual on multiple occasions... he said it was like the FBI wanted Bin Laden on the loose, and the FBI knew where Bin Laden was at almost all times, but higher ups chose not to act... Anyways frustrated by this, in mid 2001 John O'Neill finally decides to leave his post as head of counter-terrorism for the FBI after realizing his efforts to capture Bin Laden were not being allowed to have an effect and therefore were basically meaningless. Shortly after leaving his FBI post, a close friend of his named Jerome Hauer gets him a nice new job... as head of security... for the World Trade Center... John shows up to work on his FIRST DAY on 9/11 2001 to attend a 8:30am scheduled meeting on the 80 something floor of North Tower (the first one hit)... but the meeting is cut a little short, when 16 minutes into the meeting a "hijacked 747" crashes directly into the room this meeting is being held on... instantly killing John O'Neill, the former head of FBI counter-terrorism, with a terrorist event said to be done by the very man he spent years trying to hunt down.

Now some may write this off as a "coincidence", but before you do I urge you to watch the movie below, which does a great job of explaining some various connections & "coincidences" specifically surrounding the death of John P O'Neill and some lesser known details about 9/11 including the connection of BCCI, KROLL Associates, Jerome Hauer, the alleged terrorist involved in the 9/11 plot.


Why did O'Neill start working at the World Trade Center?
Why were his investigations into Al-Quida stopped?
Who arranged for him to get his new ill famed job?
...I know the answers to these questions now... and none of them have anything to do with Osama Bin Laden.

John Patrick O'Neill (February 6, 1952 – September 11, 2001) was an American counter-terrorism expert, who worked as a special agent and eventually a Special Agent in Charge in the Federal Bureau of Investigation until late 2001. In 1995, O'Neill began to intensely study the roots of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing after he assisted in the capture of Ramzi Yousef, who was the leader of that plot.

He subsequently learned of al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden, and investigated the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia and the 2000 USS Cole bombing in Yemen. Partly due to personal friction he had within the FBI and federal government, O'Neill was pushed out of the Bureau in 2001. He became the head of security at the World Trade Center, where he died at age 49 in the September 11, 2001 attacks. In 2002, O'Neill was the subject of a Frontline documentary named "The Man Who Knew," and cast as the main protagonist in the television miniseries The Path to 9/11.
