OP do you see a lot of people dying from those events or everything is still very manageable (for instance Fukushima is bad but doesn't cause society breakdown and mass human die off)

I really don't want to get stuck half world away from my loved ones. In your vision do you see societies still functioning? Long distance travel still possible?
