Why Do Women Wear Those God Awful Ugly Furry Boots In The Winter Time?

because they are warm and they dont give a poop what men think because the world doesnt revolve around men

thats not his point. They are ugly and they dont provide much warmth (thats not their purpose). He is wondering why people would waste money when for 40-60$ you can have a good pair of boots that are both warm and look good.

Yes. Women should wear Columbia,Kodiak, Sorrel boots. Not those ugly ones that look like a sheep dog.

I think the other poster answered it succinctly. Women dress for other women, not men. What men like fashion-wise doesn't really concern most women most of the time.

They look 10 times better, if thats all they are wearing.

My winter boots are good for -5 degrees F. They're pretty ugly, not fashionable at all. Cost about 40 bucks, but my feet stay nice and toasty.

My wife wears those boots. Sometimes that's all she wears. Its hot.

i wear them. they keep your feet toasty and they are supremely comfortable

only nice if they are the real deal though

if i cared what men liked, i would wear heels

Women should wear nothing at all except shoes.

The fad started from Apre ski wear.....it boots intended for the parties after skiing and hanging out at the lodge....then it became street fashion.....I was a buyer and manager at a large outdoors shop when the fad started....couldn't keep them in stock.....backordered for years....

ugg boots are the warmest and the most comfortable .

I clicked on it because I was shopping for winter boots online this morning and thought it would be nice to get a mans opinion too. I was thinking about a more attractive look than my muks to go with my new leather jacket, but they need to feel good, be practical and warm. No high heels.
