I'm confused this isn't a site of esoteric material, is it?

There are two issues, firstly esoteric is a broad term which means governments can class various websites according to whatever definition they fancy and then block it, and secondly, this is seen as the thin edge of the wedge i.e. once they hit one area they'll move onto others using essentially the same legislation.
